Last night Anonymous hacked two Ukrainian government websites in answer to the violence against Tetyana Chornovol, an Ukrainian activist and journalist. A video from her dashboard cam clearly show the attempt on her life. As stated in the original press release and the information center Anonymous started OpUkraine in an effort to support protesters and fight government violence and corruption.
The sites cg.gov.ua and economy.cg.gov.ua were breached and their databases leaked and dumped. Here are samples of the database dumps for economy.cg.gov.ua and cg.gov.ua (password: anonymous).
It’s not the first time Anonymous hack and leak Ukrainian government properties. In November the State Custom website was hacked and 1GB of data was leaked.
